"Next level" preservation, fermentation and pickling
With this set of original classic clip top jars with Airtender vacuum lids, you get the best way to keep food fresh longer, prepare delicious fermentations like Kimchi and also make pickling faster and easier. In short, the special vacuum lids and hand pump give these beautiful classic weck jars a super handy upgrade.
5x longer fresh
Under vacuum, food is proven to stay fresh and full of flavor up to 5 times(!) longer. This is considerably longer than storing in an airtight jar. Especially if the jar is opened often, the effect of airtight storage is minimal.
Faster fermentation and infusion
Clip Top Jars are also often used for fermentation and infusion. For example, when making Kimchi or Kombucha (fermented tea). Both infusing and fermenting are faster and better with vacuum.
Because of the vacuum, you infuse in minutes instead of hours or days. Fermentation only gets off to a good start in a low-oxygen environment, so vacuum is the ideal starter for that. Pickling, also known as wecking, can of course also be done simply with the Airtender vacuum lid. After opening, the vacuum lid will also keep the contents fresh for longer!

Hybrid storage
With the Airtender vacuum kit for clip top jars, you can use the same lid for vacuum or airtight storage only. For longer storage, however, always choose vacuum, because then the contents will keep longer. And cookies, cereals, nuts, crackers, etc. will stay nice and fresh and crispy.
With vacuum indicator
Each lid of the Airtender vacuum set includes a Nanostopper. This handy vacuum stopper has a vacuum indicator. So you can easily see if a jar or bottle is under vacuum. Also, the included Airtender vacuum pump makes a sound when your vacuum is reached.

Really happy with this firm tall jar and it is a huge plus it comes with the extra lid and pump to vacuum the jar. I can keep my granola tasty for much longer now! I read it is also possible to infuse and pickle with the vacuum lid so will try that next. Really recommend this product!

Ce bocal sous vide est parfait pour conserver mes aliments plus longtemps. Le système de vide d'air fonctionne très bien et c'est vraiment facile à utiliser. Idéal pour stocker des fruits ou des restes de repas.

I have been experimenting with fermenting stuff like kimchi. The trouble I had was that certain containers/jars couldn't remain airtight. With these special jars and lids I haven't had a single problem. The things I tried turned out great, and the fermentation happens way quicker too! I'm very happy!

Ik koop het liefst zaden en noten groot in, maar het blijft niet altijd even lang goed. Met deze deksels kan je alles onder vacuüm, dus niet alleen luchtdicht, bewaren in weckpotten en hiermee blijft de inhoud erg lang houdbaar, vers en knapperig.
Ik ga er zeker meer aanschaffen!

Pot aangeschaft om mijn droge gist zuurstofvrij in te bewaren en dat werkt perfect! Ik vind dit een fijne duurzame aankoop want glas ipv plastic, kan zo in de vaatwasser en kan eeuwig mee. Ideale potten met deze vacuum deksels, ga er zeker meer aanschaffen op den duur! De service van Airtender is ook helemaal super want eerst verkeerde formaat pot geleverd en na een mail van mijn kant, kostenloos de goede (met vacuüm deksel) nageleverd zonder dat ik de foute terug hoefde te sturen!
Heel blij met mijn aankoop én dit bedrijf!!!

Très bon produit! Le bocal est solide et bien conçu. Le système sous vide est pratique pour garder les aliments frais, surtout pour les préparations maison.

Potten gekocht om mijn verse groente en fruit een stuk langer te kunnen bewaren. En dat werkt heel goed! Blijkbaar kun je met deze combinatie ook sneller inmaken, marineren en fermenteren, dus daar ga ik binnenkort mee experimenteren (Kombucha maken).
Echt een veelzijdige product waar ik echt heel blij mee ben!

Erg tevreden! Ik gebruik ze vooral voor marineren en inleggen. Ipv uren moeten wachten totdat de marinade in het vlees getrokken is, is het in de pot onder vacuum zo gebeurd. Ook een gepickeld uitje maken is binnen no time klaar.
Zeker aan te raden!
