Aerating white wine

Experience stunning flavor development of white wine, with the Precision Aerator.

Although white wines are much more difficult to aerate, the Precision Aerator is so powerful and precise that white wines will be developed to perfection in seconds. Like with red wines, you will have full control of how much oxygen you add to each individual glass. Get ready to experience a whole new dimension of flavor.

How to use

The Airtender® vinologists have compiled an aeration guide for wine in 4 type categories. This guide provides general advice on how to use the Precision Aerator with most red wines. Of course, taste is personal, so we encourage you to experiment and find your perfect settings.

The effects of Precision Aeration

1x 5s Primary fruit aroma is clearly noticeable (smell and taste). Fresh acids are clearly noticeable in the wine’s finish.

2x 5s The primary fruit note is less present; the wine is more balanced. The acids are softened and have a round finish. Clear integration of primary fruits and acids.

3x 5s Generally not recommended for white wines of type 1 and 2. Optional for fortified young wines, such as vintage Port or Madeira.
