Aerator
The Airtender Aerator consists of an air pump with a stainless steel aerator and diffuser. By pumping air through the diffuser, millions of microbubbles are created and injected into any liquid.

Wine is a natural product and by exposing it to air, it develops its full aroma and flavor. One of the frequently used terms for this process is "to let wine breathe". Usually, this takes anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.

When you aerate wine, you speed up this process, by actively adding air to the wine and forcing it to react with it. The "oxidation" of the wine involves chemical changes in the wine, which bring out the characteristic flavours of the wine, such as fruits and wooden tones. Aerating

Pour a glass of red, white or rosé wine.

Place the Wine Aerator in the wine and let it rest on the bottom of the glass.

Pump 2-3 times to aerate the wine.

Remove the aerator and smell and taste the wine.

Aerate more if you like, feel free to experiment!

Pump in clean water and dry to clean the aerator.

Place a Nanostopper in the bottle neck.

Place the vacuum pump centered on top of the Nanostopper.

Pump until you hear the "popping" vacuum indicator and remove the pump.

Check to see that the Nanostopper sits perfectly flat on the bottle neck/lid.

For screw cap bottles: place the screw cap over the Nanostopper and screw closed.

Store the bottle however you prefer: upright or horizontally.
