The cocktail shaker is the most iconic bartending tool. It is used to chill and mix ingredients, add air and slightly dilute the drink for a smoother taste. The drawback is that it takes skill, time and effort to use. For foamed cocktails, even more effort an time is required to create enough tasty foam.

The Cocktail Shaker Pro offers the solution. The aerator works by diffusing air from the pump into millions of microscopic air bubbles. These bubbles get trapped in the cocktail ingredients, instantly creating a rich foam.This process also mixes the ingredients themselves and boosts flavour at the same time.

When you use the aerator in a glass, you can create a premium foamed cocktail without a shaker. When you prefer to shake, the aerator will maximize the amount of foam and flavour in the shaker. This means that you only have to shake a few seconds to get a fantastic result.

Fill the large cocktail shaker cup with a handful of ice cubes and use the jigger to measure and add the ingredients. Add egg white, or a foaming alternative.*

Cap the large shaker cup with the small one.

Shake for 5-10 seconds until the shaker feels cold.

Remove the small cup and place the Airtender Aerator in the liquid.

Pump air into the mixture and watch the foam rapidly increase in volume.

Remove the aerator and place the strainer on top of the filled cup.

Pour the cocktail into a glass and shake the while pouring the last foam to make sure you use all of it.

Finish with a nice garnish – and you’re done!

*This is what bartenders use to create most foamed cocktails. Use fresh egg whites or liquid egg white from the supermarket. Or use a vegan alternative if you don't want to use eggs.
